CPR/BASIC LIFE SUPPORT
 

BLS for Healthcare Providers* (6 hour course)

Introducing Basic Life Support (BLS), training for healthcare professionals, designed to provide them with the confidence to respond effectively in an emergency situation with lifesaving skills of CPR and relief of choking.

6-hour course (each month @ one of five CTI locations), from 9:00am - 3:00pm

COST: $65 

 
Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive their American Heart Association CPR For Medical Professionals card.
*Course content:
1-man & 2-man CPR for adults, children and infants
1-man & 2-man rescue for choking victims (adults, children and infants)   
 

WHY SHOULD YOU KNOW HOW TO PROVIDE CPR?

"CPR", also known as Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation is a resuscitation process combining mouth-to-mouth breathing with chest compressions. This action, when provided immediately after a sudden cardiac arrest, can double - even triple - a victim's chance of survival.
